Robbie Blair was born in Johannesburg, South-Africa in 1983 and moved to Stellenbosch at the age of 6. While living in Stellenbosch, he attended Paul Roos Gymnasium where he was a member of the school's student council. During this time, Robbie was the number 1 ranked tennis player in South-Africa in the under 14, 16 and 18 year age groups and represented South-Africa in several prestigious events including World Cup and grand slam tournaments such as Junior Wimbledon and Junior Australian Open.
Robbie received a tennis scholarship at the University of San Diego where he graduated in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration.
While attending University, Robbie also became the Assistant Coach for the University of San Diego Mens tennis team in 2005 and has been involved at the University since then.
Hobbies include watching and playing most sports and playing guitar.
